During its Annual Meeting on May 18, 2024, the Foundation Board of Trustees selected six community college students to receive $3,000 Charles A. Pearson Memorial Scholarships conditional upon being admitted to an ABET-accredited baccalaureate engineering program at a college or university in Washington. These scholarships are named in the memory of Charles A. Pearson who was a long-time trustee and past president of the Foundation.
The recipients are:
- Anthony Little; Bremerton, WA; applying for admission to the mechanical engineering program at Washington State University
- Danna De Anda Solois; Pasco, WA; applying for admission to the electrical engineering program at Washington State University
- Dean Macduff; Kennewick, WA; applying for admission to the mechanical engineering program at Washington State University
- Dylan Stecklein; Pasco, WA; applying for admission to the aeronautical engineering program at the University of Washington
- Mason Schindler; Bremerton, WA; applying for admission to the electrical engineering program at Washington State University
- Miguel Palomino; Pasco, WA; applying for admission to the electrical engineering program at Washington State University
