Program: “Nuggets from a Traveled Engineer”

Robert will share from his many diverse engineering and life experiences, from living and working on three different continents in many different industries, both private and public, and in many different roles from Junior Engineer to Principal. His talk will be more on the "people" side of engineering as opposed to the technical side.

Robert has 35-years experience in Consulting Engineering, working in small (5 person) to large (15,000 person) firms. He has worked as an engineer (electrical, instrumentation & controls, systems integration), construction manager, construction supervisor, business developer, and group manager.

Robert has lived and worked in five different countries: Canada, Belgium, France, Chile and the US.

 He has worked in such diverse industries as: pulp & paper, bio pharmaceutical, semiconductor, automotive, aviation, water & wastewater, aluminum, chemical, LNG, oil & gas, and transportation.

Dinner: There is one price for all and one great selection for the Dinner food. The main entree is Grilled Mahi Mahi with a Saffron Infused Rice Pilaf and a Mango Buerre Blanc, Fresh Garden Vegetables, and Focaccia Bread/Butter. Harvest Salad Greens with tomato, cucumber, carrots, red onion and croutons, served with house dressing. Sorbet for dessert. Choice of Freshly Brewed Coffee, Decaffeinated Coffee or Tea. Other beverages available from the hotel bar.

Please find attached a copy of a map showing the location of the Seattle Best Western Executive Inn downtown Seattle. After 6 pm, parking is free on Taylor Avenue North in front of the Executive Inn.
